Tjänstedesign resulterar i tjänster som kunden förstår och tycker om - det handlar om nytänk i kundmötet och leder till minskade kostnader och ökade intäkter.
En tjänst består av en rad kontaktpunkter mellan kunden och tjänsteföretaget över tid.

Tjänstedesign ser till att alla kontaktpunkter fungerar perfekt och tillsammans skapar högt kundvärde med en positiv upplevelse.

Underrubrik Tjänstedesign

Transformator startades 1998 kring idén att erbjuda de mest värdeskapande delarna i den traditionella industridesignen - Designstrategin.
Slutkundens behov kondenseras ner till tydliga mål för utvecklingens upplevda delar. Vi har skapat lönsamma Designpolicys och Produktidentiteter föt ledande svenska och internationella företag inom en mängd olika branscher.

När gränsen ofta är utsuddad idag, mellan fysisk produkt och tjänst, måste erbjudandet ingå som en helhet i en lönsam Designstrategi. Vi har fört över industridesignmetoder för kundinsikt, innovation, visualisering och prototyptest in i tjänsteutveckling.

2010-06-22 Beyond Nice Design Award 2010 Announced!
Martina Gustavsson graduates from the MFA degree program Formgiving Intelligence of the Industrial Design department at Konstfack. She receives the award for her degree project "Product Designer – At your service" a Service Design concept in cooperation with the hair salon chain Björn Axén. The Service concept is designed to fulfill the needs of the customer, creating a differentiated experience and bringing the values of the brand to life. Congratulations!

2010-04-30 Shaping National Policy for Service Innovation
Initiated by Deputy Prime Minister Maude Olofsson the Swedish government is developing a national policy for service innovation. As the largest and most established service design provider in Sweden, Transformator has been invited to take part in the process. The Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications states that “In order to meet future challenges, we need to know more about how innovation is created in the service economy, becoming more able to respond to the needs and better represent development opportunities.” Follow the discussion here or read Transformator’s CEO Daniel Ewerman’s posting in english here.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of self-organized events that bring people together to share groundbreaking new ideas that pushes the envelope - a place for inspiring people who believe in the power of ideas and inspiring talks to help shape the face of the future. 2010-04-16 Umeå Institute of Design
The Master Program in Advanced Product Design from Umeå institute of Design visits Transformator to learn more about Service Design and about Transformator.  “We are very pleased to have them here as we think the Advanced Product Design in Umeå is one of the world’s best educations in Design.” says Daniel Ewerman, CEO of Transformator. The program focuses on the advanced treatment of design, user studies, problem identification and analysis, new materials and technologies, advanced presentation methods, strategic design, industrial organisation and consulting techniques. And above all, an emphasis on innovation and new thinking.

2010-03-01 Meaningful Services
Transformator is featured in the Swedish magazine Almega distributed by the employer and trade organization for the Swedish service sector with the same name. The association has 9,450 member companies employing some 455,000 people. They spearhead development for their member companies in all matters regarding employer-staff relations, and in public policy issues. 2010-02-08 Transformator is growing
Transformator is growing the area of Service design and is creating the strongest service design team in Scandinavia. We would like to welcome Stina Engström who is joining us in the capacity as project leader and service designer. This is a part of our plan for continuous growth and to recruit the best in our field. Stina’s previous experience include extensive service design work for Swedish Customs (Tullverket) and designing IT services for the Swedish public education system. We are thrilled to have her and can’t wait for you to meet her. Welcome!

2010-02-01 Can design be of service to the environment?
Transformator is developing and giving a course to design students at master level at the University College of Art, Craft & Design (Konsfack). The aim of the course is to teach and inspire students to redesign and rethink existing products into new services. The results are integrated solutions to product-service systems that focus on the need of the user rather than the current solution. The bases for the course are methods and tools that Transformator uses for user research, service innovation and service development.

2010-01-27 EU initiative on service design
In an initiative sponsored by the EU, Designarena Nord, SVID, Centek and Design Västerbotten are helping to develop and strengthen the service industry in the north of Sweden. Transformator was commissioned to provide the know-how in the strategic and practical work. This has resulted in new competitive solutions and directions for a number of service companies in a variety of industries. This goes to show that a little can do a lot to set development and change in motion in the service sector.
